Greenchromide Homestays in Mundrothuruth was a true paradise for me as a senior woman. The location by the backwaters was simply idyllic, with a shady riverside area offering comfortable chairs and inviting hammocks where I could relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. The house itself was stylish and contemporary, and the two ensuite bedrooms I stayed in were spotlessly clean and well equipped. What truly made my stay memorable was the warm and genuine hospitality of the young couple who own and run the homestay. They spoke fluent English and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. And let me tell you, the Keralan food they cooked was absolutely fabulous! It was such a treat to savor the delicious homecooked meals that showcased the flavors of Kerala cuisine. Greenchromide Homestays provided the perfect setting for me to relax and do nothing but enjoy the peaceful beauty of the backwaters.

If there was one thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be for the children working at the homestay to be a little more attentive and proactive in assisting with any needs or requests. But this was a minor issue that didn't detract from the overall wonderful experience I had at Greenchromide Homestays.

All in all, it is comfortable place for staying in Munroe Island. Setting really close to the riverbank, a beautiful river. I strongly recommend this property, loved it very much...

Beautiful surroundings, delicious homemade food, and welcoming hosts. Relaxing and calm atmosphere with a lovely hammock area. Don't miss the breathtaking sunrise canoeing experience. The location is great and the riverside view during meals is worth every penny. The personal touch and helpfulness of the hosts make for a memorable stay.

The backwaters offered the chance to row a boat with an oarsman, see the village life, and enjoy an Asian breakfast. The WiFi was great, and the villa had a nice sit out area overlooking the river.

Couldn't find a single thing to dislike, it was all just perfect.

La location dell'alloggio è ottimale, vicina a tutte le attrazioni turistiche e a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. Inoltre, è situata in una zona chiusa da un cancello, offrendo una maggiore sicurezza. La camera è ben arredata e spaziosa, con un letto comodo e disponibilità di spazio per riporre le proprie cose. Il bagno è moderno e funzionale, con una doccia spaziosa. Inoltre, il parcheggio privato all'interno dell'area è molto comodo.

Unico punto negativo è che la struttura della doccia non era ottimale, facendo fuoriuscire l'acqua.

We had a wonderful stay at Greenchromide Homestays. The family-run property was welcoming and friendly, with magnificent hosts. The food was tasty and the location stunning. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, organizing a memorable canoe ride and providing great service. The price was reasonable too.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The decoration at this homestay is simply delightful! The interiors are adorned with beautiful traditional artwork and colorful tapestries that give a warm and welcoming feel. The general areas are well-maintained, clean, and spacious, making it easy for senior people to move around comfortably. Additionally, the homestay is easily accessible, with no steep stairs or long walks for us seniors. It was a relief to not have to worry about any physical challenges during our stay.

My only wish for a better vacation would be for the children working there to be a bit more attentive. They were helpful, but sometimes it took them a little longer to respond to our requests.
